Image Specs:
Uploaded images will need to be 300 dpi at preferred printed dimensions. File formats that work best are jpg, pdf, and png. SVG files are not supported, as well as Canva files
Design Online:
We have over 100 pre-made designs for you to customize on our design page. You can look by industry, theme, and by color if you’re looking for anything specific. If you already have an image to upload, select design online!
Uploading:
When selecting the images icon at the top, it will give you the option to import your photos from your device. Remember, images need to be 300 dpi for it to print in the best quality. Below, it will also give you the option to see the dieline and other template settings, just click on the template pdf and it will show you both inside and outside. If you need to delete an image, simply click the red trash button.
Toolbar:
When you upload an image to the editor, a gray toolbar will appear. The first icon is the crop button, this allows you to crop your image and take off certain parts.
Rotate:
The next icon is the rotate, where you can decide if the image needs to face another direction, and you can also tilt the image if desired.
Resize:
After that is the resize button, where you can customize how big or small your image will be.
Color:
Next is the color option, you can select a pre-made color, or you can create your own using the more colors tool. Select a color, and move the slide bar to determine the hue.
Align:
The align layer after the color option can help align your image vertically or horizontally.
Layer:
If you have multiple images, you can use the layer option to move them in front or behind other images.
Duplicate
If you are needing an image multiple times, we have the duplicate option to make multiples of your uploaded image.
Replace:
If you end up needing a different image in that spot, the replace icon will replace the image you have without having to re adjust your placement.
Lock:
If you have other elements to your box but don't want a specific image to get moved, the lock icon will lock that image in place, and won’t move from the spot.
Delete:
Lastly, if you need to get rid of an image, simply hit the red trash can icon to delete the image from your box.
Backgrounds:
If you’re wanting your box to be a specific color, don’t worry, we have plenty of background colors to choose! You can either select one of our pre-made colors, or create your own! If you want to create your own color, select the pencil icon on the right, and it will take you to our color selector.
Patterns:
We have over 100 background patterns to choose from! We have them sorted by category, and the drop down menu will list them all. If you need to change the colors in the pattern, no problem! There will be a color icon on the left where you can change the colors.
Text:
If you want to add text to your box, click the text button at the bottom of the sidebar. You can move your text, resize it, rotate it, change the font, and even change the alignment.
3D View:
Next to the 2D image, there will be a virtual 3D box, so you can see what your design will look like when it’s printed. Simply click the box, and drag it around to see the different sides. Below the box, it gives you the option to see the open box, so if you have an inside print it will be easy to view.
